NexGen (fka Hardball) Indoor Winter Training Program

Registration is now open for our 2nd session of the indoor winter training program!
In partnership with NexGenTraining Center in Elmsford (fka Hardball). Session 1 is doing well and a few of our sessions sold out.
The session will run from Monday, 1/5 - Monday, 2/9 (section dependent)
There will be 6 different classes with their own recurring times. You will need to sign up for a specific class.
Each class will meet five times (once a week over the course of Session 1).
The programs for older players will last 90 minutes.
The programs for younger players (or a blend of older and younger players) will last 60 minutes.
The programs will focus on basic skills and drills, emphasizing hitting, fielding, and throwing.
The programs for 2nd-graders through 7th-graders will be led by NexGen's professional instructors with a maximum instructor/player ratio of 8:1
The sessions are scheduled to avoid school vacation weekends
We have included a first grade only session since we have had so much demand during our last session. This session will be capped at 13 players with 3 instructors per session resulting in an instructor:player ratio of approx.4:1.
As you will see in the chart below, there are multiple registration options. Programs are divided into two age groups: 4th through 7th grade and 2nd through 4th grade. If your 4th-grader is a particularly strong player, you may want to consider signing him/her up for the older group. Otherwise, please sign up for the younger group. Your child may only attend the sessions for which they sign up. The 2nd through 7th grade sessions will be broken up into two groups, one for the younger players and one for the older players.
Please Note: Registration filled up quickly the last 2 years. As a result, we had to turn away several players. ELL players will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. If the programs fill up, you will be able to sign up for a waiting list. If we have enough players on the waiting list, we will try our best to add another program, but that is not guaranteed: It will depend upon availability for both the space and instructors.
We also have received requests for specialty pitcher and catcher programs and are working to offer those for both baseball and softball. Please stay tuned for more news on that front.

Softball Skill-Specific Indoor Winter Training Program @ Game On 13
We are excited to announce that based on the success of the winter programs last year, Elmsford Little League will again be offering indoor training sessions for softball in partnership with Game On 13, one of the premier softball training facilities in the Northeast!
These programs are designed to help our players improve their skills in a supportive environment. This is an exciting time for Elmsford Little League Softball; the program is thriving and we are coming off of record softball enrollment. Our 10U District All Stars team made an exciting run to the championship game this past spring!
There will be two 5-week semesters, each requiring its own registration. The info for Semester 1 is below (Semester 2 will begin in mid/late February and will have a separate registration period).
Training Programs Semester 1:
Pitching Clinic: Mondays, (Jan 5th, 12th, 26th, Feb 2nd, and Feb 9th)
6:00 PM to 7 PM for players new to pitching
7:00 PM to 8:00 PM for players with more pitching experience
We will need a few parents or players to volunteer to catch during the pitching clinics
Pitching clinics are limited to 8 players per time slot.
Hitting Clinic: Wednesdays, (Jan 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, and Feb 4th)
6:00 PM to 7:00 PM for players newer to softball
7:00 PM to 8:00 PM for intermediate players
Hitting clinics are limited to 12 players per time slot.
Registration will be on a first come first served basis.
Players are allowed to sign up for both the pitching clinic and the hitting clinic.
Currently, we are opening registration for the first semester only and will open registration for the second semester in January
Please note that priority for the second semester will be given to players who sign up for the first semester
Please sign up ASAP as space will be limited (last year these programs filled up)
If we run out of space, please sign up on the waiting list and we can try to add additional slots (no promises as space is limited at the facility, but we will try).
