ELL’s 2025 summer season will feature a variety of programs for baseball and softball players aged 4 to 13 of all experience levels. There will be a tee-ball program, clinics, and competitive teams that play 2-3 games per week against squads from surrounding little leagues.
ELL’s summer ball program differs from our spring season in a number of ways. It is generally more relaxed; there are no standings or playoffs, and attendance is flexible. Roster sizes are larger to accommodate players who are away for parts of the summer.
We are also pleased to offer a summer development option for new players (entering second grade or above). Since summer ball tends to be entirely focused on games, with limited or no practices, it can be a difficult adjustment for first-time players. Baseball and softball are technical sports, and it can be tough to jump right into games without proper instruction. All first-time players (with the exception of kids entering first grade or below) should strongly consider signing up for the development program. It is also a good option for players who have played before, but who may have struggled with basic skills.
